Montana vacations, great big blue skies, soaring wilderness mountains, world famous trout river, abundant wildlife, what more can you hope for? Get out of the same old rut and stay at our 120 year old cabin or try out the studio barn apartment. Have coffee in the morning looking over Wigwam Creek with the Madison River and the Madison Mountain range in the distance. Look to the west and see pronghorn antelope, whitetail deer, marmots and if you're lucky an osprey or eagle or even a prairie falcon. Try your luck with rainbow or brown trout on the Madison, only one mile away. Get the family and drive to Yellowstone Park only 1 1/2 hours drive away. Call a wrangler and do a horse ride in the mountains. Virginia City is only 30 minutes away and discover what the gold prospectors saw in 1870. If you've forgotten what the Milky Way looks like, come here. If you've forgotten what silence can sound like, come here. We're not far from civilization but its far enough to feel a like this is what it used to be like.

All of Montana is special but this valley, this place is the best. Bozeman is a university town with a cowboy flavor and has all the amenities and cultural events you would expect in a college town. Ennis is only 50 miles away, and we're 14 miles south of Ennis near the Ennis National Fish Hatchery. Ennis is a special little town complete with a variety of restaurants, watering holes (also known as bars), shops, art galleries, and a community hospital. The Madison Valley contains the Madison River loaded with trout, coursing through large cattle ranches stretching up and down the valley. The valley is bordered on both sides with mountains. On the east lies the wild and rugged Madison Range stretching down to Yellowstone Park. On the west lies the Gravelly Range replete with mountain meadows and one of the most beautiful mountain drives in the country. This whole area is part of the Yellowstone Ecosystem containing all of the original wildlife species. Elk, deer, black bear, grizzly bear, and even wolves occur in the general area.

I hope you can come join us in Montana.
